HOW TO SUPPLY YOUR JOB

ACCETED FILE FORMATS

~ InDesign (CS1, CS2 & CS3), Raw packaged art, all fonts and image included.

~ Illustrator (CS1, CS2 & CS3), All files have outlined fonts and images are included.

~ Hires PDF with 5mm bleed and trims. Made using the press quality setting.

PRE-FLIGHT YOUR FILES (Prior to creating a PDF or packing files)

~ Check trim size is correct.

~ Avoid using "Facing Pages" or "Printers Pairs". Never impose your own files.

~ Any crop marks used are set as registraion colour.

~ Ensure white text isn't set to overprint. Black text is not CMYK or Registraion colour.

~ All bleeds are correct (at least 5mm around entire job).

~ Any large Black panels should include approximately 100% black, 45% Cyan

(only on 4 colour jobs).

~ Document has been spell checked.

~ Customised fonts (e.g.Forced Bold or Italics) are not used, unless converted to paths.

~ Update and supply all images within the document.

~ Specified spot colours are correct. (Never use RGB Colours).

~ Convert RGB images to CMYK.

~ Supply images at 300dpi, Bitmap at 600dpi (minimum).

~ All fonts supplied or converted to outlines/curves.

~ Allowance made for folds (e.g. 1mm shorter on the internal page of a gate fold brochure).

~ Knife, Die-line, UV Varnishes, Spot Varnishes and or Foils supply as separate spot

colour with overprint selected within the same document.

DELIVERING YOUR JOB

Austral Printing Co. can accept files from any of the following devices;

~ CD?DVD (Mac/PC Format) - Include a colour printout of job for reference.

~ FTP (call for details)
